LabVIEW Developer Senior

Overview

We are seeking a motivated experienced engineer to join our test engineering team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and execute automated test systems using National Instruments LabVIEW software to validate product performance, reliability, and quality. This position offers hands‑on experience integrating hardware and software for data acquisition, functional testing, and automated test sequences in a production or R&D environment.

Ideal for engineers with 3+ years of experience who enjoy working at the intersection of electrical/hardware systems and software development.

• Design, develop, and debug LabVIEW programs for automated testing of electronic assemblies and sensors
• Create virtual instruments (VIs) for data acquisition, signal processing, instrument control, and test sequencing
• Interface LabVIEW with test hardware including NI DAQ devices, PCI chassis, cRIO, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other measurement equipment
• Assist in writing and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts to verify product requirements and specifications
• Collect, analyze, and report test data; identify anomalies and support root‑cause analysis
• Maintain and upgrade existing LabVIEW‑based test stations; document code and test setups for reproducibility
• Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve test coverage and efficiency
• Participate in troubleshooting hardware/software integration issues during test development and execution
• Support transition of test solutions from prototype/R&D to production environments

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to join our team. As a self‑starter with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, you will thrive in this role, working on complex test systems and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to work with the latest test equipment to support the verification and validation events.

This position is in Orlando, Florida.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of experience developing automated test software in LabVIEW
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.)
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

• Certified LabVIEW Developer certification from NI (or working toward it)
• Familiarity with NI Test Stand
• Experience working with NI Hardware Platforms (PXI, cDAQ, Compact
  
  RIO)
• Experience developing automated test solutions for RF products
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git, Perforce) or structured software development practices

This position requires a government security clearance; a US Citizen is required for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
