• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering with focus on lean manufacturing and Quality Management Systems
• 3-5 years of supplier quality experience
• Experience working cross‑functionally with other teams
• Experience with RCCA, data analysis, reporting
• Software experience:
  Teamcenter, Syteline
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience interacting with cross functional teams including engineering, materials, logistics, sales & marketing
• Experience with application and validation of welding procedures, preferred
• Demonstrated supplier management skills
• Project management experience or similar skill set
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; proficient in Microsoft suite of tools, data analytics using statistical software or MS Excel
• Effective two‑way communication and executive presentation skills
• Business acumen
• Experience using quality methodologies:
  Lean, Six Sigma, 8-D, DFMEA, PPAP, etc.

• Talk to team members on the floor regarding issues, check and respond to emails about floor issues
• Data analysis to determine supplier issues, investigate and propose solutions
• Identify clear deviations
• Perform QM system updates
• Reporting

• Participate in Supplier Approval and Evaluation process
• Perform supplier evaluations, evaluate capabilities, review supplier documents to support approval or continuity as a GSE supplier
• Review and support Supplier Deviation process
• Act as liaison between Engineering and Supplier to address specification and print questions
• Track supplier performance KPIs and drive continual improvement
• Lead corrective actions internally and externally
• Lead Kaizen, continual improvement projects, rework and scrap reduction
