Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

You will be the Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Manufacturing Engineering group. Our team is responsible for delivering precise work instructions, advancing process automation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for converting complex designs into actionable production guidance and enhancing manufacturing efficiency across missile‑defense programs.

• Translate engineering blueprints and parts lists into clear work instructions.
• Develop and implement process automation and advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Lead root‑cause corrective actions and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
• Design and optimize processes to reduce cost, improve quality, and accelerate delivery.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Position requires 3+ years of experience with a related Bachelor's degree or an equivalent Master's degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clear.

• Experience writing technical work instructions.
• Ability to work in a cross‑functional, teaming environment.
• Detailed knowledge of GD&T.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques.
• CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design.
• Experience working with electro‑mechanical and/or optical assemblies.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

This position requires a Secret level security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

This position is located in Orlando, Florida. Must be a U.S. citizen due to special access requirements.
