Alternative Delivery Project Engineer (Transportation Focused Mid-Level)

Location: Orlando, FL (Tampa, Orlando, Boca Raton, or Jacksonville, FL with flexibility for office or hybrid schedule)

This role is part of a dedicated team that provides technical and production support for the development of Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs), geometric design, and production planning for major Alternative Delivery (Design‑Build) projects and pursuits.

Eligibility: Eligible for a sign‑on bonus starting at $10,000.

• Perform engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross‑sections, construction, and temporary traffic control details.
• Create engineering documents, including typical section packages, pavement design reports, and variation/exception reports.
• Perform advanced Micro Station/GEOPAK/Open Roads processes using 3D modeling.
• Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications among multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• B.S. from an ABET‑accredited university in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of transportation roadway design experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida, or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Proficiency in Micro Station and/or Open Roads.
• Strong knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria, FDM and standard plans.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and self‑initiative to meet client deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented team player who can contribute to a positive work environment.
• Valid driver’s license with approved driving history.
