You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products.
What You Will Be Doing- Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures
- Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events
- Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware
- Supporting failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing
- Providing engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile
- Traveling domestically to support program test events and meetings (up to 10%)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T)
- Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and analysis principles
- Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and test script creation
- Active Secret Clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in I&T, focused on environmental testing and Design DVT
- Experience with HALT testing, production, and latent manufacturing defect testing
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as MIL‑STD‑810, MIL‑STD‑461, and DO‑160
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, such as LabVIEW or Test Stand
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as MATLAB or Python
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with ability to analyse complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Experience with design assurance reviews related to verification methods and planning
- Experience with preparing for Test Readiness and Flight Readiness Reviews
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must obtain a Secret Security Clearance; a Final Secret Clearance is required to start.
