Windows Systems Engineer

Type: Contract through end of 2026

Pay: $42/hr W2

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in Windows Server engineering and virtualization to support and maintain a stable, high‑performing infrastructure environment. This role is focused on Windows administration, Hyper‑V support, and day‑to‑day infrastructure operations
, including lab and physical server environments.

Experience working in industrial or Operational Technology (OT) environments is a strong plus.

• Configure, support, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments
  , including Active Directory and Group Policy
• Manage and support RDS (Remote Desktop Services) environments
• Administer and maintain Hyper‑V infrastructure
  , including understanding host requirements and physical dependencies
• Use Power Shell to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and support system management
• Maintain and support lab and infrastructure environments
  , including physical servers, hardware, and storage
• Apply networking fundamentals to support system connectivity (IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN awareness)
• Work across teams to support infrastructure improvements and system stability

• Strong experience in Windows Server engineering (AD, GPO, DNS, etc.)
• Hands‑on experience configuring and supporting RDS environments
• Experience with Power Shell scripting or automation
• Solid understanding of Hyper‑V, including how it functions and its physical infrastructure requirements
• Foundational networking knowledge (subnetting, IP configuration, connectivity)

• Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or OT environments
• Experience supporting lab environments or physical server hardware
• Familiarity with Dell infrastructure (iDRAC, server hardware)
