Description
Industrial Engineer in the Industrial Engineering team responsible for facilities layouts, work measurement, cost analysis, capacity requirements planning, capital project management, budget planning, discrete event simulation, and business proposal analysis.
Responsibilities- Lead cross‑functional improvement efforts for a production area.
- Identify areas of focus for production improvement across a wide scope.
- Perform observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement.
- Use visualization and data tools to analyze production processes.
- Apply Lean and Six‑Sigma practices to production and lead major improvement efforts.
- Analyze large data sets for capacity requirements planning and factory scheduling.
- Plan and implement layout improvements and capital equipment projects.
- Build discrete event simulation models for production process analysis.
- Assist in new product development and proposal efforts with data analysis.
- Support 1
LMX transition activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Team participation experience.
- Process improvement experience.
- Five or more years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or three or more years with a master’s degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Production scheduling systems knowledge.
- Lean Six‑Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Material flow optimization.
- Capacity and manpower forecasting.
- Estimating to engineering drawings.
- Understanding of EAC/Budgeting process.
Senior level employee typically has 4–7 years of professional experience with a related bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of related professional experience with a related master’s degree.

Schedule:
4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
