PGS Worldwide is seeking a Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. In this role, you will support an air dominance production team producing key missile system components by identifying and resolving production issues, defects, and failures. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive root cause and corrective actions and provide clear status updates to leadership.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferably in an engineering-related field)
2+ years of experience with GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5, including ability to perform tolerance analysis
2+ years of experience using Creo design software
2+ years of experience with root cause and corrective action
2+ years of experience reading engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications
Ability to lead investigative efforts and report status to interdisciplinary teams
What You’ll Do
Participate as a key member of the Material Review Board (MRB) process by reviewing non-conforming hardware for performance impacts
Identify appropriate root cause and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence
Support production programs by identifying and resolving production issues, defects, and failures, including time-sensitive situations
Coordinate efforts across Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
Support weekly status meetings and communicate progress to leadership
