Description
You will be the Project Engineer for the Spike NLOS & M LRPSM Sustainment Team. Our team keeps the Spike NLOS system mission ready in the field and drives the execution of the M LRPSM prototype, delivering sustainment, technical support, and continuous improvement for these critical programs.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Project Engineer you will be the go‑to technical lead for sustainment activities, coordinating hardware logistics, risk mitigation, and performance tracking while working side by side with the LSE, USG, and cross‑functional partners. You’ll help shape proposals, manage budgets, and present status updates to senior leadership.
Responsibilities- Providing rapid, expert guidance to the LSE team (both CONUS and OCONUS) on sustainment questions and challenges.
- Overseeing hardware shipments, repair coordination, and supplier relationships to ensure field‑ready equipment.
- Tracking contractual requirements, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Contributing to proposal development and managing budgetary elements of the programs.
- Measuring and reporting sustainment performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with USG officials and internal cross‑functional teams to resolve Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) issues.
- Maintaining accurate contract documentation and record keeping in compliance with regulations.
- Preparing progress reports and delivering presentations to senior management and program stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
- Demonstrated experience in ILS support.
- Experience in project planning and management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with proposals and CAM responsibilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Experience with missile systems or fire control products.
- Experience leveraging sustainment principles for program optimization.
This position is in Orlando, FL.
Security ClearanceMust be a U.S. citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
