Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) – Air‑Launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW) team. Responsible for ensuring quality standards throughout the development process, from design to production, in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead supplier quality plans and requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance monitoring.
- Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective‑action initiatives.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
- Track, analyze, and report quality metrics throughout the product lifecycle.
- STEM degree at the bachelor’s level or higher, preferably in a technical, industrial, or quality assurance related field, or equivalent combined education/experience.
- Engineering or quality experience developing methods, work instructions, and procedures for inspection of manufactured products.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, mechanical and electrical inspection methods.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts to develop and review quality engineering processes and metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to use statistical analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues ranging from basic to complex.
- Ability to travel 25%-50%.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be a U.S. Citizen.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Knowledge of configuration and data management.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
- Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Awareness of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated team leadership skills.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Experience working with government customers.
- Effective communication skills, including written, oral, listening, and technical writing.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must obtain a Secret clearance and be a U.S. Citizen.
