Join our team as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Machining Operations Center/Manufacturing Engineering Team  Our team is responsible for creating and improving manufacturing strategies for ultra-precision CNC machined  Our team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions for technical and organizational challenges

## What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer your focus will be on driving solutions, your responsibilities will include:

+ Deliver verbal and written status reports, highlighting project milestones and progress

+ Communicate project risks, solutions, and schedule impacts to stakeholders

+ Prioritize tasks to ensure the team is progressing in the right direction

+ Represent the team in programmatic reviews and status meetings

+ Assist in the development of proposals

+ Create/update work instructions, mfg  sketches, and other shop floor documentation to support production needs

+ Coordinate shop‑floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues

+ Organize discussions and approaches to Root Cause analysis of component non‑conformances and ensure implementation of effective Corrective Action

+ Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects/programs

* Basic Qualifications:

* - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline

- Effective project management

- Strong communication and presentation skills  both written and verbal

- Experience working with cross functional groups

- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems and issues as they arise

- Experience with data analytics

- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools

- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action tools

- Understanding of CNC machining

- Understanding of Computer Aided  CAD

- Experience interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing  GD&T  interpretation skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

- Must be a U S  Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U S  DoD Security Clearance

Skills:

* - Proficient in utilizing Computer Aided   CAD

- Experience using precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment

- General understanding of Mil Spec special processes  heat treatment, chem film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc   

- Familiarity with ISO
9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications

- SAP and Apriso experience

- Windchill PLM

- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

- Proposal development experience
