* You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for the Supplier Quality team  Our team is responsible for delivering high‑performance infrared search‑track  IRST  solutions to meet mission‑critical requirements

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring supplier‑delivered components meet Lockheed Martin's stringent quality standards

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

+ Facilitating and documenting supplier meetings

+ Managing the Corrective Action Board  CAB  process

+ Conducting root‑cause investigations for supplier‑related issues

+ Resolving supplier‑related production problems

+ Processing Material Review Board  MRB  actions

MUST BE A U S  CITIZEN   This position is located at a facility that requires special access

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related discipline or equivalent education and experience

One  1  year of professional experience or no professional experience with a related master's degree

Ability to travel  25% or less  to support supplier visits and root cause investigations

Must be able to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance

** Desired

Skills:

*
* Experience with quality assurance methods, tools, techniques, and principles

Experience with first article inspections and AS9102

Experience with source inspection, source surveillance, and supplier special process certifications

Knowledge and understanding of Lockheed Martin nonconformance management systems  Apriso, SAP

Knowledge and understanding of quality management standards  AS9100, ISO
9001

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical requirements

Experience supporting engineering development efforts

** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
