Description

Are you a Transportation-focused Senior-Level Project Engineer who is experienced in Design-Build / Alternative Delivery pursuits?

As a Senior Alternative Delivery Project Engineer, you will become part of a dedicated team that provides technical and production support in the development of Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs), geometric design, and plans production for major Alternative Delivery (Design-Build) projects and pursuits.

This role can be based in Orlando or Tampa, FL with flexibility to work in the office or with a hybrid work schedule.

This position is eligible for a sign-on-bonus starting at $10,000!

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

* Perform engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and Temporary Traffic Control details.

* Creation of engineering documents including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports.

* Perform advanced Micro Station, GEOPAK, Open Roads processes using 3D modeling.

* Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.

What you'll need

* B.S. from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering

* Minimum of 10 years of transportation roadway design experience

* Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida

* Proficiency in Micro Station and/or Open Roads

* Strong knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria, FDM and Standard Plans

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

* Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

* Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment

* Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working on limited-access projects

* Experience working on alternative delivery / design-build projects

* Experience with 3D corridor modeling
