** Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position based in Orlando, FL supporting the ATWS Program portfolio The Quality professional will be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of key suppliers, continuous improvement, talent development, training and knowledge continuity The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Supplier Quality Engineering The position requires manufacturing experience / knowledge developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products
** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
Develop/execute supplier strategy in partnership with the ATWS GSC team
Ensure supplier contract flow down requirements are implemented and verified
Support the Supplier Integrated Product Teams and partner with the various production sites/centers with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non conformance aging
Analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex
Lead the Supplier Quality team in program corrective action meetings, identifying trends, assist in problem resolution and ensure responsible parties meet commitments
Coordinate and/or perform assessments and audits on processes and procedures of supply base to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO 9001/AS9100
Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs
Interface with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues
Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement
Participate as required in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board MRB activities

* Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education
Must have the ability to travel
Must have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Advanced Quality Engineering or Analyst experience
In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures
Advanced knowledge and experience conducting PO reviews, source inspections, Special Process / QMS surveys, FAI's, and surveillance at supplier facilities
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi task and meet deadlines

STEM degree at bachelors' level or higher preferred
A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay P2P business systems
