Senior Geotechnical Engineer

I am working with a well-established engineering firm in Orlando that is seeking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support technical delivery and expand its Central Florida presence. This role offers the chance to take ownership of projects while contributing to client development and office growth. The position combines hands‑on technical work with increasing leadership responsibility.

• Manage projects from the proposal stage through final reporting.
• Oversee subsurface exploration programs.
• Analyze field and laboratory data.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical engineering reports.
• Perform foundation design, settlement analysis, and slope stability evaluations.
• Support retaining systems and earthwork design.
• Develop client relationships and assist with new business efforts.
• Guide and mentor junior staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering.
• Eight to twelve years of geotechnical experience.
• Strong design and reporting capability.
• Experience working on commercial development or infrastructure projects.
• Professional licensure preferred but not essential.
