Engineering Project Designer – Orlando, FL

• Plan and design electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and fire alarms for various structures and buildings.
• Assist in providing design elements to complete projects, system components, or parts of major projects, collaborating with other team members and meeting specified objectives.
• Prepare complete project documentation, including plans, specifications, due‑diligence reports and related drawings.
• Coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work, manage multiple moderate‑size projects or portions of larger projects while staying within budget and meeting deadlines.
• Interact and collaborate with clients, officials, contractors, and project team members.
• Correct and update drawings and assist the project team and other staff as required.
• Ensure company technical policies and procedures are followed during project execution.
• Perform specific engineering studies and design analyses, assist the Project Manager with budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Review shop drawings, record changes, and communicate with suppliers, contractors, and client representatives as needed.
• Perform on‑site inspections when required.

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• One (1) year of experience as an Electrical Engineering Designer or Electrical Design Engineer.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Visual Electrical engineering software.
• Ability to work remotely up to 95% of the time within Florida.
