You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for the Supplier Quality team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-performance infrared search-track (IRST) solutions to meet mission-critical requirements. What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring supplier-delivered components meet Lockheed Martin's stringent quality standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Facilitating and documenting supplier meetings
* Managing the Corrective Action Board (CAB) process
* Conducting root-cause investigations for supplier-related issues
* Resolving supplier-related production problems

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related discipline or equivalent education and experience One (1) year of professional experience or no professional experience with a related master's degree. Ability to travel (25% or less) to support supplier visits and root cause investigations Must be able to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance Desired

Skills:

Experience with quality assurance methods, tools, techniques, and principles

Experience with first article inspections and AS9102

Experience with source inspection, source surveillance, and supplier special process certifications Knowledge and understanding of Lockheed Martin nonconformance management systems (Apriso, SAP) Knowledge and understanding of quality management standards (AS9100, ISO
9001) Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical requirements Experience supporting engineering development efforts Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
