HWIL FPGA Engineer

Description:

Seeking an FPGA Design Engineer to support RF Sensor Stimulation Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) capabilities. FPGA Engineer to oversee the design, development and implementation of Radio Frequency (RF) signal modulation capabilities in FPGAs. Tasks for this position will include the definition of FPGA architecture, development of VHDL firmware and development of interfaces to ancillary HWIL HW. Also responsible for the integration, test, verification and validation of multiple subsystems.

Basic Qualifications:

* 8+ years of experience developing FPGA Programmable Logic

* Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

* HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog

* Experience on Hardware-Software Integration and Validation

* Familiarity with FPGA toolsets (Vivado, Libero, and/or Quartus strongly preferred)

* Experience with electronics design and troubleshooting activities

* Experience with C/C++ programming

* Experience Integrating HW and SW

* Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired

Skills:

* Master's Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

* Experience with management of Configuration Control

* Experience with Vivado FPGA toolset

* Experience with troubleshooting and debugging skills with board-level testing and FPGA validation

* Experience in ASIC / FPGA life cycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration & test)

* Expert programming Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) or Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD)

* Comfortable using digital oscilloscopes, power meters, and other test equipment

* Experience working with HWIL systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
