HVAC Sales Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our growing HVAC team. This role combines technical expertise with consultative selling to support customers, contractors, engineers, and facility managers in selecting and implementing HVAC solutions. The ideal candidate can effectively translate complex technical requirements into practical, cost-effective solutions while building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth.

Our client specializes in 100% dedicated outdoor air systems and is able to deliver a wide range of options to satisfy ventilation for most building requirements. We have developed the most flexible product lines that can be configured to offer our customers semi‑custom packaged heating and cooling systems to meet any need.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales, applications engineering, mechanical contracting, building automation, or related technical sales.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, controls, and mechanical design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and equipment selections.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and HVAC selection software.

• Experience selling commercial HVAC equipment or solutions.
• Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), energy management, and controls.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and local building codes.
• Professional Engineer (PE), EIT, or HVAC‑related certifications are a plus.
