Senior Program Quality Engineer – Program Quality team
You will be the Sr. Program Quality Engineer for the Program Quality team. Our team ensures program quality across Rotary Wing Sensor (RWS) programs.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Sr. Program Quality Engineer you will manage the implementation and execution of program quality requirements throughout development, transition to production, and production efforts.
Responsibilities- Lead implementation of program quality requirements across development, transition, and production phases.
- Serve as Quality Lead partnering with program teams to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage DCMA/customer quality relationships and nonconformance documentation.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and ensure effective containment.
- Promote continuous process improvement and product excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 3+ years of experience or equivalent combined education/experience.
- Quality experience.
- Proficiency with discrepancy documents.
- Experience with quality or manufacturing engineering processes or policies or system management requirements.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- 1+ years of Electrical, Hardware, or Systems Engineering background.
- 2+ years of Quality experience.
- Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt.
- Engaging with external customer.
- Knowledge in audit processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with aerospace defense hardware, processes, systems, and command media.
- Experience with non-conformance requirements.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with data analytics to report trends, drive improvements/efficiencies, including excel macros and pivot tables.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
Location & Work RequirementsPosition is in Orlando, Florida. Must be a U.S. citizen. The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work SchedulesSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from a standard 40 hour week or may be condensed.
