Description
If you're a student looking to gain experience in Civil Engineering, consider DRMP. While classes and labs are a HUGE part of becoming an engineer, the real-world experience and hands‑on application you gain through interning will solidify your decision to become an engineer and provide clarity to your path.
* Internships can last anywhere from 3 months to 24 months - depending on mutual interest and availability.
Through DRMP’s college internship opportunity, students will gain practical experience while earning an engineering degree and exploring a potential career path in engineering.

- Assist in designing stormwater infrastructure such as detention/retention basins, storm sewers, and green infrastructure solutions.
- Assist with site assessments and data collection for stormwater management projects.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations and analyses under supervision.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and cost estimates for stormwater projects and presentations.
- Learn and apply regulatory requirements related to stormwater management.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Civil Engineering at an ABET‑accredited university
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self‑initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail‑oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history
- Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
