Senior Project Engineer – Aviation

Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL, & Locations through Southeast U.S.

• Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars.
• Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities.
• Supervise designers and CADD technicians.
• Perform and/or lead civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of the Aviation Service Director.
• Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative.
• Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience and detailed knowledge of FAA standards.
• Senior positions may be available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in design programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while focusing on client service.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
