What You Will Be Doing- Elicit, refine and document functional and performance requirements for FPGA designs.
- Create detailed RTL (VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog) and accompanying constraints to meet timing, power and reliability goals.
- Develop and maintain digital logic control blocks for peripherals such as memory interfaces, high speed I/O, and motor controllers.
- Integrate, configure and verify vendor supplied IP, ensuring proper licensing and version control.
- Migrate legacy FPGA code bases to newer device families, especially AMD Versal platforms, while preserving functionality and improving efficiency.
- Build and run UVM based test benches and other simulation environments to validate functional correctness and timing closure.
- Support hardware integration activities, including board level bring up, debugging and system level validation.
- Lead design assurance reviews, prepare verification reports and maintain traceability in Git Lab (or equivalent) repositories.
- Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical and test engineers to resolve cross disciplinary issues and meet program milestones.
