CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Team in Winter Springs, FL and lead the way in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for water and wastewater systems. This is your opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a pivotal role in advancing our technical capabilities for sustainable communities.
What You'll Do:- Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water and wastewater projects
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital water infrastructure
- Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
- Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
- Water/wastewater and/or municipal engineering experience preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
- Lead challenging water and wastewater projects that push the boundaries of engineering and environmental stewardship
- Mentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to protecting public health and delivering sustainable solutions
- Collaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environment
$90,000 - $105,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
