A Snapshot of your Day In this role, you will support new unit growth across the North America region through the installation and commissioning of new steam turbines at customer sites. Your responsibilities will include the hands-on execution of construction activities, as well as the coordination of project tasks and required documentation to ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.

Success in this position requires a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background, experience with large rotating equipment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to resolve complex technical challenges in the field.

How You'll Make an Impact Execute the mechanical and electrical construction of large steam turbines and associated auxiliary systems at new unit sites in accordance with engineering specifications.

Perform precision alignment, installation verification, and pre-commissioning testing to ensure system integrity and readiness for operation.

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during installation by applying sound engineering judgment and practical field experience.

Ensure all construction activities meet company, customer, and industry safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Collaborate effectively with project managers, customers, and subcontractors to support schedules, workflows, and site coordination.

Prepare and maintain accurate daily work logs, technical reports, and issue-tracking documentation to support project transparency and control.

Communicate technical status, risks, and solutions clearly to internal teams and customer representatives.

Support commissioning, start-up, and project handover activities to ensure successful project completion.

What you Bring

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. Equivalent relevant military or construction experience can be considered.
3 or more years of experience in a field service role involving the installation, commissioning, or maintenance of rotating equipment, preferably steam turbines.

Excellent technical communication (verbal /written) skills.

Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills.

* Frequently lift and carry materials weighing 30-50 pounds.

* Tolerate exposure to rigorous environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and varying weather conditions.

* Ability to hear and effectively communicate in noisy environments while maintaining focus and clarity of thought.
