Interns gain exposure to real projects while working side by side with senior staff. OpportunityOur Construction Management team is seeking a Part‑Time Construction Inspector intern to work out of our Orlando, FL office. This temporary position is open to individuals currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or high school graduates entering a college program. The internship will be part of the WSP Summer Internship Program, a 12‑week engagement scheduled to start on May 18th, 2026.
The exact start date may be flexible.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related, undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation within the next five years, or a high school graduate.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Demonstrated interest in construction or a related field, and a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non‑engineering audience.
- Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to execute projects.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related master’s or PhD program with an anticipated graduation date of 2027 or later, or a high school graduate.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Prior internship or leadership involvement.
