Position: Integration, Test & Evaluation Sr. Stf Engineer (Orlando, FL)

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support missile and sensor development programs. You will lead subsystem and system-level integration and testing, use of test equipment during missile processing, and preparation of test‑related documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead subsystem and system‑level integration and testing, oversee the assembly and test of mockup missiles and live ordnance flight test missiles.
  • Develop, prepare, and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures, and support technical interchange meetings, customer design reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Pre‑Ship Reviews.
  • Serve as an LM interface to the customer test team, ensuring on‑time deliveries of program work products.
  • Provide troubleshooting leadership, identify causes, corrective actions and develop re‑test instructions when needed.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operations.
  • Maintain configuration management documentation.
  • Coordinate cross‑disciplinary teams (software, hardware, RF, electrical, mission‑operations) to resolve integration issues.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and serve as subject‑matter expert on missile integration and test.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 9+ years of professional experience.
  • Familiar with systems engineering and software development processes applied to design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems.
  • Previous product development, Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V) experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent and related experience in an IT&E leadership role.
  • Experience in team leadership and cost account management (CAM).
  • Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and PSRR.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.

  • Experience with a diversity of complex electrical (hardware) systems

  • Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) Experience
  • Laboratory System Integration and Test or Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop (HWIL) experience
  • Ground and Flight Test activities on military products/platforms
  • Development of test plans, test procedures, and test reports
  • Experience with Engineering Reviews (Test Readiness, Flight Readiness, Design Reviews)
  • Experience with data‑bus standards such as MIL‑STD‑1553, MIL‑STD‑1760
  • Instrumentation and data capture (oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, matrix switch cards, PXIe instruments, AC/DC power distribution)
  • Data analysis using MATLAB or Python
  • Telemetry data processing and analysis
  • Managing and tracking configured products for test, including Safety of Flight (SoF) Systems
  • Probability, statistics, and mathematical modeling
  • Experience working in classified/access‑controlled facilities
  • Reading and using technical schematics, drawings, software specs, and manuals
  • Requirements tracking and bug tracking tools such as DOORS and JIRA
  • Electrical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
  • RF equipment integration and testing
  • RF Test Equipment, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes
  • Configuration and Data Management (CDM) of Hardware and Software
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel to government test sites and remote locations for extended durations
Location & Security

Position is in Orlando, FL. Must be U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Secret Clearance is required to start.
