Base pay range$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Our client is a leading provider of engineering and infrastructure consulting services to the US energy sector. We are now looking for CAD Designers to join their busy and growing team in Florida.
To be successful in this role:
- You will be a confident CAD Designer, with some level of expertise in producing CAD outputs with packages including AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
Other requirements for this role include:
- Computer Literacy in basic software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Fluent spoken and written English language.
- Ability to work maturely in a diverse team.
Desirable but not essential requirements:
- Post school level education achievements in a relevant area for delivering engineering CAD outputs.
- Awareness of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
Position summary:
This role will suit someone looking for the opportunity to broaden their experience into Electricity Transmission. It will provide a solid fundamental understanding of HV OHL design supporting construction on a variety of projects and will support professional development and recognition within the sector. In addition, you will be part of a global team and the development opportunities this brings.
Job role and responsibilities:
As a CAD Designer, you will deliver drawings, design deliverables, and documents as directed by the engineers and designers in accordance with the engineering procedures and guidance notes.
Other key responsibilities for this role include:
- Produce CAD models in AutoCAD Civil 3D to support engineering studies and construction activities.
- Produce drawings, sketches, and reports to convey the outputs from Engineering to stakeholders internally and externally.
- Ensure that the quality of all your deliverables before passing to others for review.
- Ensure that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and programme.
- Keep up to date with all technical quality management procedures, developments, and specifications related to the discipline work scope.
