Electrical Site Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering from college or university and five (5) years’ experience with Gas Turbine; or, seven (7) years related experience with Gas Turbines.
• Familiarity with Combined Cycle Power Plant Equipment is required. Experience with ISO procedures and OSHA safety requirements would be an asset
• Understanding of Power plant equipment such as pumps, condensers, cooling towers, rotating equipment, turbines, material handling, water treatment, valves, and heat exchangers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineered drawings, technical procedures, supplier documentation, schedules, and material take-off.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

• Coordinate with site teams, suppliers, engineering, and contractors to resolve issues and support construction and commissioning activities.
• Manage moderately complex technical and site issues independently, including PAR (Project Action Requests) resolution and drawing/document reviews.
• Plan and support construction, erection, and commissioning activities in alignment with project schedules, specifications, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, procedures, and quality requirements while promoting a collaborative work environment.

$85,000/yr to $105,000/yr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
