What you will do:- Provide strong leadership and guidance in technical expertise and oversight of the transportation practice in the region.
- Research markets, develop and maintain client relationships, and identify business opportunities.
- Create and execute strategic plans to guide practice growth.
- Lead successful strategic pursuits and capture planning for specific opportunities.
- Work closely with operations staff to identify, hire, develop and grow key staff and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with Halff’s national Transportation Practice to ensure implementation of best practices and leverage firm-wide resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET‑accredited equivalent engineering degree.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in transportation planning, design, and related services.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in the state of Florida.
- Established leadership and expertise in the industry.
- Strong client connections, particularly senior DOT relationships.
- Positive attitude, self‑directed yet a team player, with a focus on integrity and quality.
- Multi‑disciplinary teams to meet complex challenges of aging infrastructure and constrained budgets.
- Extensive knowledge of planning, designing, and managing transportation projects to move people and goods safely and reliably.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
