This role supports the design and development of mechanical hardware for aerospace and defense systems, including structural assemblies, component installations, brackets, support equipment, and related hardware used in flight and ground applications. The position focuses on translating system and customer requirements into detailed, manufacturable designs and engineering documentation that satisfy performance, environmental, weight, and size constraints.
Working under general supervision, this role independently develops mechanical design solutions, collaborates with cross‑functional teams inside and outside the department, recommends improvements to design practices, and supports products through development, integration, test, and production. This position is located in Orlando, FL.
