Responsibilities
- Assist and provide support for all design aspects of assigned projects
- Attend Kick-off meetings with design team, clients and owner to develop scope of work
- Perform Site visits to determine existing conditions and document all associated systems
- Provide project management from project kickoff thru construction administration
- Convey information to internal stakeholders for submissions on design deliverables
- Provide consultation on mechanical equipment room sizes during design stage
- Produce & review HVAC Load & Energy calculations
- Design HVAC ductwork layouts, ductwork sizing and specify required equipment
- QA/QC reviews of calculations by Designers and provide guidance
- Respond to RFIs for the project and review submittals during construction
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing Building Systems Design
- Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Engineering
- PE Licensure is required
- Working knowledge of Revit
- AutoCAD MEP is a plus
- Self-motivated with ability to learn quickly and accept responsibilities
