An engineering firm specializing in process controls solutions and experts in the design, programming and deployment of automation systems for process, manufacturing, commercial buildings and public sector utilities is opening a Mechanical Engineer position in Orlando, Florida (USA).
This is a great opportunity to join a 100% employee‑owned ESOP and one of the largest and most well‑established engineering companies in the United States skilled at electrical design, control system manufacturing, process integration, programming, testing, training, and ongoing support.
This position is responsible for mechanical engineering on large scale projects.
Responsibilities- Project requirements involving mechanical system design from scratch, analysis/calculations (stress/fatigue/etc.), acceleration forces, load calculations, material stress design, failure and effects analysis, risk assessment, component selection, mechanical system installation/commissioning.
- Responsible for system design from blank sheet of paper to create concept of mechanical components based on project requirements.
- Provide input and system modification as needed for system integration with other project disciplines.
