We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on UAS Field Technician & Flight Test Operator to ensure our drone fleets perform flawlessly. As the core technical pillar of our new Florida headquarters, you will be the primary expert for drone assembly, hardware maintenance, flight testing, and client demonstrations. You won't just be a technician- you will be a founding member of Drotek Inc's operational team.

- Flight Operations & Demos: Identify and secure safe flight testing grounds in Florida. Plan and execute flawless, live drone swarm demonstrations for prospective clients and partners.
- Assembly & Maintenance: Build, solder, troubleshoot, and repair drone hardware (components, PCBs, motors) at our Winter Garden facility.
- Customer Technical Support: Act as the first line of technical expertise for our US clients, diagnosing hardware and software issues on-site or remotely.
- FAA Compliance & Safety: Navigate FAA regulations, secure necessary airspace authorizations for testing, and ensure all operations strictly comply with US aviation laws.
- HQ Liaison (RETEX): Relay field data and technical feedback directly to the French R&D engineering team to continuously improve our systems.
- Certification: Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is absolutely mandatory.
- Experience: 3+ years in UAS/drone maintenance, assembly, and flight operations.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong background in electronics, micro-soldering, and hardware diagnostics. You aren't afraid to open a drone and troubleshoot at the component level. - Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of FAA regulations and airspace authorization processes (LAANC, COA, etc.).
- Client-Facing Attitude: Excellent communication skills to train clients, provide technical support, and conduct professional live demos. You are a resourceful problem-solver who keeps a cool head in the field.
- Base Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on experience).
- Performance Bonus: Annual bonus based on operational success and client satisfaction.
