OUC - The Reliable One, is presently seeking a Project Engineer Substation/Transmission Project Mgt to join the Trans Substation Engineering & Construction division. At OUC, we don’t just work – we’re building a bright future of innovation and transformation for future generations.

We are looking for a detail – driven, strategic, and technically strong engineering professional to manage electric substation capital improvement projects that support OUC’s commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and cost – effective service to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing engineering consultants, reviewing transmission and substation design specifications for compliance with OUC standards, and securing the resources needed for the successful execution of capital projects.

You will also represent and negotiate OUC’s interests with consultants, contractors, developers, government agencies, and industry organizations to ensure positive outcomes aligned with utility needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or directly related engineering degree, from an ABET accredited college or university;
• Minimum four (4) year’s total experience to include electric utility substation project management; electric utility transmission/substation design engineering, project management, construction management or operations experience;
• Advanced certification in Power Systems (preferred);
• Valid Driver's License.

Salary Range: $ - $ annually - commensurate with experience

The salary range listed reflects the full pay grade (minimum to maximum) for this role. In alignment with OUC’s compensation practices, starting salaries typically fall within the first half of the range (minimum to midpoint). Any exceptions to this practice require additional review and approval.
