Senior Structural Project Manager
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Structural Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of complex building projects while providing technical and team leadership within our Orlando office. In this role, you will apply deep expertise in structural engineering across steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems, guiding projects from conceptual design through construction. This position combines hands-on engineering with project oversight, client engagement, and staff mentorship in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design efforts and establish project-specific structural design criteria
- Independently manage the execution and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment
- Oversee and monitor project financial performance, including budgets, invoicing, and forecasting
- Review invoices and contribute to proposal development and project writing efforts
- Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, analytical models, reports, and technical correspondence
- Provide construction administration services, including review of shop drawings, RFIs, and on-site field observations
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and design teams, attending and leading internal and external meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in structural engineering with a strong focus on building structures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Thorough knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and Revit
- Demonstrated experience in project management and staff leadership
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to take on increasing responsibility and new challenges
Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated salary range: $110,000 to $150,000, based on experience and qualifications
