Structural Engineer Opportunity
Selectek is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for a direct hire role with one of our partnering companies near Orlando, Florida. This firm specializes in commercial and residential projects, so candidates will need a background in those fields.

Location:
Orlando, FL Expected Pay Range: $70,000-$95,000 based on experience and certifications.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering - EIT license in Florida - 2-5 years of experience working with wood and masonry structures
- Strong background in wood/masonry structures, framing systems, foundation analysis/design (both shallow/spread and deep), and metal plate-connected wood trusses
- Experience with concrete projects up to three stories In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties:
- Design of commercial and residential projects from concept to final design
- Prepare calculations and details of structural elements
- Draft project plans in AutoCAD as necessary
- Assist with construction support activities such as RFI's, job site reviews and design revisions
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects progress smoothly
