  • Perform load calculations and support equipment sizing and selection using industry-standard software
  • Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering designs, including system narratives, calculations, and schematic design documents
  • Develop ductwork layouts and mechanical system designs based on project requirements and design criteria
  • Prepare construction documents, including specifications, sequences of operation, piping layouts, and mechanical system drawings
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to deliver integrated building design solutions
  • Conduct field assessments and support coordination with clients, vendors, and project teams
  • Support project delivery by maintaining the quality, schedule, and technical accuracy of assigned engineering work

Here's what you'll need:

  • Professional experience in the design of HVAC systems for buildings
  • Extensive experience with Revit
  • Extensive experience with load calculation software such as Carrier HAP and/or Trane Trace
  • Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to building mechanical systems, including IMC, FBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA
  • Ideally, you'll also have:
