Position Overview:
We are seeking a Manager of Engineering to oversee and develop regional transmission line engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, cost-effective engineering services. This leadership role also contributes to business development and company initiatives, including defining regional strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams to achieve technical and professional excellence.

Support and drive business development efforts to grow the regional business.

Ensure teams uphold company values, brand standards, and ethical practices.

Create a work environment that encourages team growth, engagement, and development.

Oversee project execution, including engineering scope, change orders, schedules, and budgets.

Maintain high standards of quality and responsiveness to client needs.

Supervise transmission line design activities and enforce quality assurance and control measures.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, while cultivating new business opportunities.

Qualifications &

Experience:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (required).

Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required).

15+ years of relevant engineering experience in consulting or electric utility environments (required).

Project management experience preferred, with knowledge of scope, schedule, and budget management.

Strong understanding of engineering and design evaluation practices.

Ability to develop and implement improved processes, methods, or tools for the transmission line team.

Commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Collaborative mindset for working with teams and clients.

Willingness to share knowledge and mentor others.

Ability to identify and apply relevant metrics to drive business and project performance.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Creative and innovative approach to engineering solutions.

Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy.
