Civil Engineer Project Manager (Land Development)

Location:

Downtown Orlando, Florida

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer Project Manager to lead residential and commercial land development projects across Central Florida. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and deep familiarity with local permitting and regulatory processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full project lifecycle: planning, design, permitting, and delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, including Engineers-in-Training (E.I.s), particularly in the preparation of stormwater and utility engineering reports.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with local and state agencies including:
  • – Orange County, City of Orlando, City of Sanford, Osceola County, Seminole County.
  • – St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD), FDEP, and FDOT.
  • Lead utility design efforts using WaterCAD, EPANET, and other modeling tools.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 10 years in land development engineering, 5 years in project management .
  • Licensure:
    Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida, Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, EPANET, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
