Overview

The Electrical Engineer PE is responsible for overseeing the development of electrical engineering designs, studies, and technical solutions. This role serves as the Engineer of Record (EOR), providing technical authority and direction for electrical engineering projects while working as part of an integrated project team.

Responsibilities
  • Anaylzes, develops, and evaluates electrical systems.
  • Designs and drafts engineering plans and drawings using Revit.
  • Improves and maintains existing systems and develops solutions for new projects.
  • Performs engineering calculations and technical analyses to support project design.
  • Visits project sites to evaluate existing conditions and support project implementation.
  • Manages assigned projects and coordinates with integrated project teams.
  • Serves as the Engineer of Record (EOR) and signs and seals engineering documents.
  • Provides technical authority and direction for electrical engineering designs, studies, and solutions.
  • Troubleshoots complex engineering issues and provides technical solutions.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years of MEP design experience for commercial electrical systems.
  • Design experience supporting commercial MEP infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Experience designing and drafting blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
