60% Business Development & 40% "doer" role
Responsibilities- Lead drainage and stormwater design for transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roadways, interchanges, bridges, and multimodal facilities.
- Perform hydraulic analyses, stormwater management design, pond siting evaluations, and bridge hydraulic studies.
- Manage permitting efforts and coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management across multiple assignments.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering staff.
- Support client development activities and represent the firm at industry events as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
- 10+ years of transportation drainage, stormwater, or water resources engineering experience.
- Experience delivering transportation projects for state and local transportation agencies.
- Strong expertise in drainage design, hydraulic analysis, stormwater management, and permitting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and complex engineering projects.
- Valid driver's license.
