A leading infrastructure and transportation firm is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to take on a leadership role in project planning, design, and execution. This is a prime opportunity for an experienced engineer to influence high-profile projects, guide junior engineers, and collaborate with diverse teams to drive successful project outcomes.

• Lead major infrastructure projects that shape communities and transportation networks.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams on complex and high-impact initiatives.
• Client-facing role with opportunities to manage relationships and present strategic solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical expertise to elevate project success.

Provide engineering consultation in planning, design, and project coordination.

Develop and evaluate engineering reports, plans, and specifications.

Lead client communication, proposal coordination, and project presentations.

Oversee project execution, including quality control, field reviews, and site observations.

Ensure technical accuracy by reviewing and guiding the work of junior engineers.

Manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, potentially leading small multidisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

7+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.

Proficiency in engineering production software and construction document preparation.

Proven ability to navigate challenging issues in a professional, solution-driven manner.

Experience managing parts of large-scale projects or multiple mid-sized projects.

Strong leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship experience.
