What You Will Be Doing

  • Developing and updating Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRAs) for early-stage assemblies.
  • Creating and maintaining manufacturing plans, make-or‑buy analyses, and associated documentation.
  • Building low‑rate development assemblies in the shop, troubleshooting hardware or tooling issues, and coordinating test activities.
  • Presenting technical and manufacturing briefings at design and manufacturing review boards.
  • Traveling to supplier sites and other Lockheed Martin facilities to support testing, tooling, and production challenges.
  • Acting as the bridge between Advanced Manufacturing & Technology and design engineers, delivering manufacturing feedback and questioning cost‑driving requirements when technical justification is lacking.
