Plumbing Designer II

As a key member of the Plumbing Design team you'll work alongside skilled Project Engineers and Project Managers, contributing to the creation of plumbing design documents.

• Create complete plumbing permit documents with minimal direct supervision.
• Produce documents in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Produce basic calculations needed to support the plumbing design.
• Research codes and standards to help implementation within the plumbing design.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and other disciplines throughout the project to ensure accurate coordination and implementation of design direction.
• Coordinate with team members
• Provide input to help improve efficiency and quality.
• Travel to jobsites as needed to resolve any challenges.
• Take personal ownership of the work produced.

• Bachelor’s Degree or specific training courses related to plumbing design.
• Significant experience in plumbing system design and drafting.
• Knowledgeable to Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and other basic software.
• Knowledge of codes and standards used for plumbing design (i.e., Plumbing Codes, NFPA, etc.)
• Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage with external stakeholders and teams.
• Field Experience.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods, with occasional bending and the capacity to lift up to 10 lbs. as needed.
• Travel as needed.
