Leidos seeks a Distribution Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team delivering electric distribution and grid modernization projects for utility and critical infrastructure clients. In this hybrid role, you'll oversee distribution system design, analysis, and modeling while driving project scope, schedules, and quality. You'll collaborate with IT, cyber, and analytics experts to integrate advanced software and automation into utility solutions. Responsibilities include client engagement, compliance with industry standards, mentoring engineers, and supporting proposals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of distribution engineers delivering utility and grid modernization projects
- Oversee design, analysis, and modeling of electric distribution systems using industry tools
- Drive project planning, scope, schedules, and quality for multiple concurrent client engagements
- Collaborate with IT, cyber, and analytics teams to integrate advanced technologies into distribution solutions
- Engage with utility and government clients to gather requirements and present technical recommendations
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards for power distribution projects
- Support proposal development, estimating, and resource planning for new opportunities
- Implement best practices, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
- Monitor project performance, risks, and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Promote a culture of integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning aligned with Leidos values
