Andretti Associate / Arcade Attendant
We are seeking an Andretti Associate (Arcade Attendant) to provide guest service in a high‑energy Family Entertainment Center environment. This role anticipates guest needs, exceeds expectations, and implements creative solutions to provide exceptional Guest service.
Position SummaryAn Andretti Arcade Attendant is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations, and providing a fun and exciting atmosphere while following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
- Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive experiences.
- Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and co‑workers.
- Work as a team player to meet guest needs and contribute to other departments.
- Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
- Be knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
- Perform opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned.
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
- Project and articulate racing requirements and safety guidelines to guests.
- Conduct redemption inventory and ensure displays are completely full.
- Perform minor repairs on games and explain operation to guests.
- Notify game techs of any machine errors and return game play credit to guests.
- Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
- Maintain constant knowledge of Andretti brand, product, and policies & procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
1+ year prior guest service experience preferred (hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment). - Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to interact enthusiastically with guests.
- Ability to work a varied schedule (days, nights, holidays, weekends).
- Ability to use a point‑of‑sale system and other electronic equipment.
- Previous experience with family entertainment centers is a plus.
- Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 30‑50 lbs.
- Work in extreme temperatures or extended periods of standing or walking.
- Maintain a positive, upbeat demeanor throughout the shift.
- Use and operate manual equipment requiring dexterity.
- Communicate quickly and accurately.
- Work in environments with bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
