Please review the following job description:

Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures, including consistent, effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services such as insurance products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed production goals.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines used by Truist.
  • Comply with all Truist policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Provide sound mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist Mortgage products.
  • Follow Truist's referral process to introduce clients to other bank solutions.
  • Assist with document follow-up during the mortgage process as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Required:
    • 1+ year experience in banking or lending, with knowledge of residential property types.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
    • Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment.
    Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Two or more years of residential mortgage lending experience.
    • Previous sales awards or leadership roles.
    Work Conditions

    Sitting, standing, walking frequently; lifting up to 25 lbs; working with computers and office equipment; availability for scheduled hours including overtime; travel up to 75%.
