ResponsibilitiesYou will manage three analysts and report directly to the Director of Finance.
- Manage the department, including special projects, team performance, supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition, recruitment, interviewing, and training.
- Directly oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit and Night Audit functions.
- Prepare the budget and maintain spending controls to ensure budgetary limits are met.
- Prepare annual depreciation schedules for furniture, equipment, building supplies, revisions, and alterations.
- Review and approve all ledger account reconciliations, including bank statements, assets, liabilities, and credit cards.
- Coordinate and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and monitor coding of cash receipts.
- Assist the Director with internal daily audits of cash deposits, transfers, and preparation and monitoring of the capital budget.
- Prepare financial reports, utilities and telephone accruals, monitor inventory records, and ensure compliance with all established billing and credit standards.
- Review and approve tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Monitor, approve, and prepare daily payroll accounts and issue all paychecks.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of accounting management experience and a background in hotel accounting/finance.
