Description

Orlando area company is looking for a Controller. The company is looking for a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Controller will include, but not limited to the following.

-- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

-- Collaborate with the CFO and team members on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

-- Create internal control guidelines.

-- Perform risk analysis.

-- Prepare and present financial reports.

-- Recommend process improvements.

-- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other consultants as needed.

-- Mentor and lead a high-performing accounting team.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience.

- Analytical problem solving skills.

- Collaboration/Teamwork - build relationships across departments
